Dr Sivanandarajah Satgunam is a healthcare leader with over two decades of experience spanning hospital operations, clinical governance, strategic expansion, business development, and P&L management. He currently serves as Deputy Director of RehabMalaysia, a national rehabilitation services organisation, where he oversees day-to-day operations, holds full P&L responsibility, and leads business development and new service development across the organisation.
Prior to this, he was Chief Operating Officer at Gleneagles Hospital and Director of Hospital Slim River, where he pioneered the expansion of a 250-bed specialist hospital, established multiple new clinical departments, and led the institution to 6th Edition MSQH Accreditation with an MSQH Excellence Award. He also served as Deputy Director of Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, a 1,400-bed tertiary hospital, leading its COVID-19 pandemic response and Occupational Health & Safety enhancements.
