Genevieve read law at the University of Reading and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) and subsequently admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She also holds an LL.M from City University of London. Genevieve’s primary area of expertise is in medical and healthcare law. She has been involved in many high quantum medical and dental negligence claims including cases involving catastrophic injuries, where she has acted for patients, healthcare facilities and healthcare practitioners. She is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia (MLSM) for the 2025-2026 term. Her legal practice encompasses a broad range of civil matters, including defamation claims, contractual disputes, employment matters, insurance law and professional negligence.
