Dr Kamadev Sonamuthu is an Exco member of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia and holds medicolegal and quality portfolios at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, where his work spans clinical ethics governance, patient rights policy, and the resolution of clinical complaints. He has developed frameworks for complaint mitigation and contributed to its Clinical Ethics Committee and Pat9ent and Family Rights Policies. He is European Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a mediator accredited under the Australian National Mediator Accreditation System, and an ISO Lead Auditor. That frontline clinical experience, paired with legal and quality training, shapes how he approaches disputes between institutions, practitioners, and patients. He holds an MD and a Masters in Disaster Medicine, and is completing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Perdana University. He is Clinical Director of Happy Farms Hippotherapy Malaysia and President of the Scientific Society of Therapeutic Equestrian and Hippotherapy Malaysia.
