Dr Soo brings more than 25 years of technical and management experience in various Asia markets with proven records in developing and managing life & health businesses in both the insurance and reinsurance industries. He has an extensive Health insurance proposition and management experience in formulating and executing business strategies, structuring product and service solutions for customers and partners, managing network via effective public-private partnership, and delivering results at regional and country BU levels. He has performed with high result-delivery over various key roles in his career, including serving as the CEO of Generali Life Assurance Philippines; Health executive as the Regional Head of Health, Generali Asia; and other management positions like General Manager – Health for Munich Re Hong Kong and Taiwan; and Chief Actuary for a life insurer in Indonesia. Dr Soo is currently offering health advisory and consulting services on his personal basis, with aims to support insurance and intermediary companies, digital health start-ups, government agencies in the region for a better health best practices and sustainable solutions.
